November Update for the Babson Class of 2014

November has arrived and it great to see so many first year students getting involved on campus.  This year we had many first year students run the Cruickshank 5K Road Race as part of a first year team.  Thank you to Ryan, Sofia, Michelle and Daine for participating on the “Major’s Milers” team. It was amazing to see everyone participate in such a great cause. Also, congratulations to Tyler Murphy, one of our awesome peer mentors, for winning the race.

Getting ready for the race!

This week is International Education Week and which includes an exciting array of programs that helps students and the community understand more about  the importance of International Education.  In addition, ther Multi-Cultural fair this week on the Thursday,  November 11th, it is exciting to see the Graduate and the Undergraduate clubs come together to pull off the amazing fair. There is going to be a dumpling eating contest and other cultural events hosted by the two schools.

Lastly, congratulations to Andrew Darling, Lundun McCall Mazza, Chia Chou Pan, Aaron Shapiro, Sara Wojda and Mo Yang! They are our newly elected members of class of  2014 Steering Committee. We are looking forward to their many contributions.

Finally, our first year/senior retreat is coming up this weekend which is always a nice event.

The Thanksgiving break is not too far away…
