Undergraduate Blog / First Year at Babson

Registration

I can’t believe I am about to register for the first semester of my senior year. The last three years have absolutely flown by. Maybe the last year goes by really slow! I’m planning on taking a few different kinds of courses. Now that I’m in the latter part of my Babson career and have completed the required business management courses, there are so many options to focus more specifically on topics that have really interested me. I am hoping to take an IT class, an international trade policy class, as well as the last of my science requirements. I have also applied to the MCFE program. This is one of the really cool things that Babson offers to the upper classmen. It is a consulting project that you can apply for in your junior or senior year. You are given the chance to work one-on-one with a real company that is looking for real help. In a group of up to six students you’ll have a chance to use the knowledge that you’ve acquired over the last 2-3 years and apply it to a real life situation. It is not only a great experience, but a great resume builder as well. All of this, and 4 credits too! Something that none of my friends at other schools have the chance to get involved in.
