Overheard in the Recruiting Lounge #3

OVERHEARD IN THE RECRUITING LOUNGE is a weekly feature on things going on in the recruiting side of CCD.

This week I overheard the following,“What’s a Vault guide?”

After that, my coworkers overheard me falling out of my chair.

WHAT’S A VAULT GUIDE?!?

Well, my goodness, a Vault guide is probably one of the single most valuable tools in preparing for job interviews.  Vault guides give you the inside scoop on career paths, company culture, hiring practices, and jobs.  There are Vault guides for whole industries, companies, firms, you name it.  There are even vault guides for companies that are great for women, and for minority candidates. Vault guides are candid, practical, and most importantly, FREE!

Yes, that’s right, read it and weep.  I said FREE!

If you’re prepping for an interview, a Vault Guide can help answer some of your questions about selectivity, the interview process, and much more.  I’m not saying it’s a one-stop shop for interview prep, but it’s a darn good start.

“I likes.  Where can I get me one of those?”

Well online of course!  The Vault Online Career Library is available right though the Horn Library’s Website.  Just go online and get all hooked up.

And that’s what we overheard this week in the recruiting lounge…
