Babson Community Featured at Upcoming Ashoka U Exchange

As an Ashoka U Changemaker Campus since 2009, Babson has embraced a deep commitment to changemaking both inside and outside our campus. We’re proud to have so many members of the Babson community – faculty, staff, and alumni – present their work at the upcoming 2018 Ashoka U Exchange. Here are some of the sessions that Babson will be a part of during the conference, right here in Boston April 5-7. Let us know if you plan to be there, we’d love to see you.

Thursday April 5, 2-3:30PM: Yulkendy Valdez’17 and Josuel Plasencia’17 are part of a Big Idea Talk on “What Keeps You Up at Night?”. Their answer? “Building Safe Spaces for Millennials of Color”.

Thursday April 5, 4-5:30PM: Cheryl Kiser and Rachel Greenberger are leading a session on “Higher Education Partnering for Change on UN Sustainable Development Goals Impact”.

Thursday April 5, 4-5:30PM: Jen Bailey is part of a Big Idea Talk on “Industries” to share her IoT for Good work: “Leveraging the Internet of Things (IOT) for Good: Co-Designing with Inter-Disciplinary & Cross-Sector Teams”.

Friday April 6, 4-5:30PM: Cheryl Kiser and Emily Weiner are leading “Experience Babson’s Methodology of Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® (ET&A)”.

Saturday April 7, 9-10:30AM: Cheryl Kiser is part of a session with The New School and Jay Friedlander from College of the Atlantic and Babson about “Creating a Changemaker Habitat on Campus”.
