The popularity of the felfie – a selfie taken on a farm has been growing on Twitter and beyond. The Guardian featured a great story on it back in January.
Perhaps the connections and influence of the U.K. felfie were what inspired Canadian-based Farm On to launch #FarmVoices, a social media movement recently joined by partners in Australia and the U.K..
According to the Farmers Guardian:
“Last year more than 2,000 farmers representing 23 countries came together to tell their stories.
In the lead up to the Year of the Family Farm 2014 event on World Earth Day on April 22, #FarmVoices is collating pictures, videos and messages of support from the young farmers of the future.”
