This Friday: Is a Good Business a Successful Business?
Though it feels like we were getting ready for From Day One just yesterday, this Friday we’re hosting the last Good Business Friday of 2013. This is always an exciting time with FME businesses starting to take shape and students all over campus working on their ventures. So it seems only fitting that we would spend our last Good Business Friday of the semester focusing on the ways that start-ups and early-stage business ventures can infuse the idea of good business into their design.
I’m thrilled to facilitate this conversation led by FME Professor Phyllis Schlesinger, who will share her insights from the countless ventures that she has mentored and advised. We will also be joined by several student entrepreneurs, including the founders of past socially innovative FME businesses, who will share the steps they took to integrate their own definition of a “good business” into their ventures.
