President Schlesinger at Ashoka Future Forum

Earlier today Babson President Len Schlesinger participated on the closing panel of the Ashoka Future Forum: Leadership for Tomorrow’s Organizations.

“Tomorrow’s organizations require different talent and a new kind of leadership. What are the essential skills and values for effective leadership? Leaders of diverse institutions (education, business, social) will share their perspectives and innovations in leading organizations that meet tomorrow’s challenges.”

Panelists included Adam Bryant, “Corner Office” Columnist with The New York Times, Bill Drayton, CEO and Chair of Ashoka: Innovators for the Public and Susan Peters, Vice President of Executive Development at GE.

The conference united 400 social innovators, business entrepreneurs, philanthropists and media to discuss what they’re seeing as hurdles to positive change and share innovative solutions.

It’s an honor to have Babson amongst such respected players and a testament to the school’s commitment to social entrepreneurship as a major force for positive change.
