Babson College Undergraduate Student Business Wins Deal on ABC’s Shark Tank

David Zamarin ’20, founder of DetraPel, appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank on Sunday January 7, 2018 at 10:00 pm.  Zamarin struck a deal with Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner for $200,000 for 25% of DetraPel.

DetraPel is a nanotechnology protective coatings company.  DetraPel provides an array of products that are clear, protective and durable coatings to any solid material so liquid just slides off without any staining. It is portable, biodegradable, non-flammable and non-corrosive.  If applied correctly, it will last anywhere up to a year. The full team consists of fellow Babson student Geoffrey Greenhouse ’20, Parthiv Neotia ’19, Stephen McKinney, and Tom Leary.
