Babson’s Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab® Boston and Miami Welcome New Resident Entrepreneurs, Executives, and Investors

The Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab® at Babson College has announced nine new resident entrepreneurs, executives, and investors who have joined their teams in Boston and Miami to offer up a breadth of industry knowledge to their new cohorts of women entrepreneurs.

Returning WIN Lab® Entrepreneurs-and-Executives-In-Residence include Gail Simmons, Roslyn (Roz) G. Daum, Eleanor Tabi Haller-Jordan, Patricia Henriques, and Erin Liman.

Annbeth EschbachAnnbeth Eschbach, Entrepreneur-In-Residence

Eschbach is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exhale Enterprises, Inc. Eschbach developed the Company’s strategic and operating plan, built a seasoned senior team and infrastructure to support growth, and directs exhale’s growth and expansion. Before founding exhale, Annbeth spent 12 years at Wellbridge, then the third-largest national spa and club operator, where she directed the company’s spa division and held responsibility for the 50-property portfolio’s branding and marketing efforts.  She served four years as President + COO for the 10-unit chain of Cardio Fitness Centers in New York and Chicago.

Cam McLeodCatherine “Cam” McLoud, Executive-In-Residence

McLeod is President of Commonwealth Hospitality, where she provides consulting services, including customer service excellence, global business development, strategic planning, executive mentoring, and talent development. She was most recently President of the IHG Owners Association, a global association of 2700 owners of InterContinental Hotels Group brand hotels. Prior to that role, the focus of her hospitality experience was leadership, creation, and repositioning of global sales organizations. She served as IHG’s Vice President Global Sales and Vice President Sales & Marketing for the Company Owned and Managed hotels.

Johanna MikkolaJohanna Mikkola, Entrepreneur-In-Residence

Mikkola is the Co-Founder of Wyncode Academy. She was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in June 2015 at the International Selection Panel in Amman, Jordan, joining a prestigious network of over 1,000 high impact entrepreneurs around the globe. Mikkola sits on the advisory board of eMerge Americas, and before launching Wyncode, she spent a decade in corporate management with the National Hockey League. There, she became the highest ranking female in her department’s history.

RJ JoshiRJ Joshi, Entrepreneur-In-Residence

Joshi is Co-Founder and COO of Bodhi Tree Asset Management after having transitioned from General Partner of Cross Valley Capital which he started two years ago with the other GP, Jon Gosier. His career previously included starting his own company in Nanotechnology, working as an Investment Banker for JP Morgan Chase, Data Engineer for Alltel/Verizon, Marketing Director for PR Newswire, and consultant to Hedge Funds and PE Funds in the tech startup space.

Zeev FeigZe’ev Feig MBA’03, Entrepreneur-In-Residence

Feig is Founder and CEO of Zensah—a venture focused on creating innovative sports apparel for athletes. As CEO of Zensah, Feig directs product development and sales and marketing for the company. Feig earned his MBA from Babson College in 2003, the same year he launched Zensah.

 

Adam Smith, Investor-In-Residence

Smith is a venture investor, board member, and attorney with more than 18 years of experience as a legal executive with expertise in managing global legal affairs, corporate securities, technology contracting, and mergers and acquisitions. Smith was responsible for sourcing potential investment opportunities and providing Medina Capital’s portfolio companies with strategic advice, business development, mergers, and acquisitions, corporate governance, intellectual property protection, contracting, and all legal issues.

blaire martinBlaire Martin, Investor-In-Residence

Martin is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Florida Angel NEXUS. Martin and her team are growing Florida’s statewide community of accredited investors, funds, and family offices. NEXUS currently supports chapters in Orlando, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Palm Beach, and Ocala along with a virtual chapter for dispersed investors. In partnership with local active investors and community leaders, new chapters are forming statewide. Since 2013, NEXUS members have invested in 63 companies a total of $17.2M; over $25M with co-investment partners.

Raul MoasRaul Moas, Investor-In-Residence

Moas is the Managing Director of AGP Miami, an angel investor network backing Florida’s most promising tech startpus. Prior to joining AGP, he served as the Executive Director of Roots of Hope, an international NGO focused on youth empowerment in Cuba. Moas, a Miami Native, is a licensed CPA and began his career at Ernst & Young.
