The Sloane Family, founders of family-owned Century Bank, discussed pointers, tips, and tricks to self-financing ventures successfully, during the recent kickoff of the Babson Alumni & Friends Network and the Alumni Club of Boston May Third Thursdays speaker series.

The discussion centered on financing small businesses, challenges in the strong regulatory environment and how Century became an $8 billion family controlled business. The audience consisted of Babson alumni and local business professionals mostly from financial services.
