Babson Alum Lena Romanova ’02 is the Founder and CEO of Millennial Exhibitions (MX), the company that designed Boston Winter at City Hall Plaza.

MX is a global provider of traveling exhibits and seasonal experience for shopping malls, entertainment centers, museums, and public parks.

“Our vision is to create a new tradition in New England to celebrate and embrace winter,” says Romanova.

Boston Winter, which opened on December 1, 2016, transformed City Hall Plaza into a magical winter festival, filled with more than 50 unique experiences, including wine and chocolate tastings, shopping, live events, and more.

Boston Winter is a European-style market that’s the first-of-its-kind in the nation. It is open to the public seven days a week through the end of February, 2017, with programming elements such as the holiday shopping market and holiday attractions available until December 31, 2016. Boston Winter is an undertaking of MX in partnership with Delaware North.

Boston Winter has been featured on NECN, in Boston Magazine, the Boston Globe and many other news outlets.

Romanova has offered the Babson community a 15% discount for all attractions at the Boston Winter. Purchase tickets and use the discount code BABSONFRIEND.
