Babson Alum Authors Children’s Book to Educate Young Entrepreneurs

Tales of A(d)Venture

Carlos Granados MSEL ’16 is the author and illustrator of the new book, Tales of A(d)Venture.  The book features seven different stories for seven different entrepreneurial principles (each one with its own animal). One story is of a penguin named Pivot and his journey to find a solution to a problem.

This book is educating young people to think on a wavelength that goes beyond questioning the status quo to actively changing it (for the better)—through action. Half the profits of the book support an entrepreneurial educational program and the other half will go towards Granados next project in this series.

“I have distilled the lessons I learned from remarkable change-makers from all walks of life into seven pillars to help you start and reassess your entrepreneurial endeavors,” says Granados.

The true takeaway from the book is to draw out your inner child. “Driving change resides in our ability to preserve a sense of wonder around our vision, which is why we should strive to tackle the impossible as children would,” says Granados.
