Inspiration for Business:Greek Food Products
I was raised in an entrepreneurial family. Throwing around business ideas is what we do best. My father is a talented entrepreneur with a passion for food! He founded the Farm Grill Fine Greek Cuisine in Newton, Massachusetts twenty years ago. Through his business, the need for healthier eating and the desire for authentic food products became very apparent to us.

How the Idea Began:
The BIG idea began at Babson College when I put our idea of an international grocery store on paper! I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with students and professors on my new venture. With the help of my family’s expertise along with my Babson education, I was able to build the Greek International Food Market from the ground up – literally!

Favorite Thing About the Business:
I love being involved in every aspect of the business. One day I’m traveling to Greece trying new products and the next I’m in the kitchen inventing my own dishes. There are no boundaries to my responsibilities. Most importantly though I love the interactions and relationships that I build with my customers. I feel extremely fortunate that I can introduce them to and educate them on new healthier eating habits, my Greek culture and international products.

Worst Thing About The Business:
There are just not enough hours in the day! I have too many ideas and too little time.

Most Recent Business Accomplishment:
We have drastically grown our products offerings this past year to include a wide variety of products from the Mediterranean. Our homemade yogurts and homemade sausages, along with our own Kalamata olive oil that you can bottle on your own, have reached the hearts and homes of many people.
