Weekend Program For Human Capital Development In International Markets

J. Dan Catalano Babson College – UG2011will lead a program this weekend with Hilary Corna – former Senior Executive Officer at Toyota in Singapore – who will be visiting Babson College to receive consulting on her nonprofit startup.  According to Catalano, “Based on her international business experience she has decided to start “OneWhiteFace” to express the value of human capital development in international markets, and to address the needs of young business professionals in a global society.

Over the weekend we will be setting strategy, preparing a business plan and aligning partnerships. I will be drawing from my social entrepreneurship experience and applying my Babson education to this business opportunity. These sessions will be open to the public to join and contribute their comments/concerns, or experience the process of nonprofit venture development.”

The Agenda is as follows:

· Saturday – February 12th

o   10am-12pm – Brainstorming Session to Identify Core Issues for Young Professionals Internationally (Horn Library)

o   12pm – 1pm – Lunch (Panini’s)

o   1pm – 3pm – International Nonprofit Business Plan Development – Vision, Mission, Strategy (Blank Center)

o   3pm – 5pm – International Nonprofit Business Plan Development – Action Plan, Deliverables, Budget (Blank Center)

· Sunday – February 13th

o   10am – 12pm – Recap and Refine Strategy (Horn Library)

o   12pm – 1pm – Lunch (Reynolds).
