SimplyMap expanded to include additional demographic and marketing data

SimplyMap is a web-based mapping application with thousands of demographic, business, and marketing data variables down to the block group level.

Some of the data sources are:

  • U.S. Census includes data from the 2000 Census with estimates for 2008/2009 and projections for 2013/2014.
  • Mediamark Research offers estimates of household usage and consumption (propensity) for thousands of products and services.
  • Simmons provides insights into individual consumer behavior for over 60,000 data variables, including products, services and specific brands.
  • PRIZM, from Nielsen Claritas, defines every U.S. household in terms of 66 demographic and behavior types or segments.
