GEM Scotland Report Released

Scotland could increase its entrepreneurial potential if more enterprise training was available in its colleges and universities, according to the authors of a new report published by the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at Strathclyde.

The tenth Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Scotland Report found that Scotland’s actual business start-up rate was the second lowest in the UK – highlighting that while many Scots believe they could go into business for themselves, too few make the leap to becoming an entrepreneur.   Read more here.
