Read! Book Recommendations for All
The Power of Words
http://libguides.babson.edu/read
The Read! campaign invites Babson faculty, staff, and friends of the College to recommend a book to the community that has influenced their lives professionally or personally. It is part of a broader Library initiative called the Community Collection: a browsing collection of new books on diversity, culture, ethics, social responsibility, language materials, popular fiction, and graphic novels.
Babson students have shared that they value the Library as a place that facilitates access to our community’s values, experiences, and knowledge. One way we can all contribute to community building is through this campaign.
Recommendations have come from all over campus & from the greater community, including:
- President & Mrs. Schlesinger
- Dean Hanno
- Jan Shubert, Director, Center for Women’s Leadership
- Stephen Cutler
- Over 20 faculty representing most divisions, including Allan Cohen, Kerry Rourke, Anne Donnellon, Heidi Neck, Mark Rice, James Hoopes, Rick Spillane, Dianna Harrington, James Hunt, Robb Kopp, Steve Gordon, and Chuck Winrich
- And your friendly neighborhood librarians
