BEC Kicks off Spring Season—New Leadership, New Ideas, New Programs
The Babson Entrepreneurship Club for MBA students kicked off the new semester at their first '07 meeting, “Entrepreneurship 102″….a strong indicator of where they want to go.
Faculty Director, Candi Brush says that BEC “Dives deeper into entrepreneurial topics and issues that may not always be covered in class. Or, if something peaked interest in class, BEC will bring in speakers with a depth of knowledge to compliment classroom curricula.”
Chinmoy Mishra accepted the presidential reins from outgoing Matt Brown. Mishra is driving BEC to bring in more start-up speakers. Says Mishra, “That's what we do here at Babson, we need real practical advice and know-how from other start-up entrepreneurs.”
BEC welcomes new MBA members to help out in four arenas of activity:
- Event coordination
- Event marketing
- Fundraising
- Website development
