Eli Bortman: Professor Bortman teaches Business Law and Individual Income Taxes. He worked in the law department at John Hancock Financial Services, specializing in tax law and corporate law, and later managed several units of their accounting department. He also served for nine years on the school committee in his home town of Winchester, where he focused on budgetary matters and labor negotiations.

Joanne Williams: Professor Williams currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and was former chair of the Accounting & Law Division at Babson College. Previously, she taught at Boston University, where she received three teaching awards, and at Texas A&M University. She has taught undergraduate courses, and graduate courses at both master’s and doctoral levels. She has been involved in education programs for practitioners, and has provided consultation for litigation support. She is currently serving as the Faculty Director of Babson’s Masters in Accounting Program.

Steven Eriksen: Dr. Eriksen has taught at Boston University, Northeastern University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and University of Massachusetts at Boston. He has extensive consulting experience primarily in the areas of transportation logistics, retail banking, and consumer product management. His current research interests are applied integer programming modeling and regression analysis.

James Philips: Dr. Philips has served as Visiting Scientist at the Gabbert Raptor Center of the University of Minnesota and taught for the Institute for Shipboard Education in the Semester At Sea Program. He has also worked as a consultant for the Norwegian Forest Research Institute, the National Audubon Society, the United States Food and Drug Administration, Bio-Systems Analysis, Inc., the Canary Islands Fauna Department, the Milwaukee Public Museum, the National Park Service and many others.

Michael May Michael May has spent the last 30 years in various capacities within the management consulting industry. Most recently he was the Global Managing Partner of the Strategy Business for Accenture. In addition, Michael was the Senior Global Partner in charge of Thought Leadership and Innovation. In that role all research labs and global innovation programs reported to him. He spends most of his time working for clients in the area of business strategy, organization and resource management. Michael teaches MOB 8400 (Corporate Strategy and National Systems) and Management Consulting.

Elaine Landry Elaine Landry is an Associate Professor of Management at Babson College, teaching courses and seminars in negotiations in the graduate, undergraduate, and executive education programs. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in management and conflict resolution from Harvard University where she was a member of the first graduate cohort group sponsored by Harvard Law School’s pioneer dispute resolution concentration.
