Professor Brush Among Speakers At 2015 California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference

Entrepreneurship Division Chair and Professor Candy Brush will be among the speakers at the 2015 California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference  held at San Diego State University on March 5th and 6th, 2015.

The goal of the conference is to unite California entrepreneurship educators, staff and thought leaders, facilitate sharing, and formulate new ideas that can be implemented on California university campuses and provide students the best possible entrepreneurship education and experiences.

Holder of the Franklin W. Olin Chair in Entrepreneurship, Dr. Candida Brush is as a professor at Babson College. Brush is known for pioneering research in women’s entrepreneurship, conducting the first and largest study of women entrepreneurs. She has authored over 120 articles published in leading management and entrepreneurship journals, serves on the editorial review boards for a variety of others and received a number of awards and accolades for her research and work in the field. Additionally, her research has often been cited in popular media including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Boston Globe, and Inc. 

The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University serves students, entrepreneurs and business leaders through its entrepreneurial curriculum, workshops, internships, resources and events.
