Diversity Preview Day: The Babson Experience

Prospective graduate students spent an exciting day with members of the Babson community at our recent Diversity Preview Day, discovering what the Babson experience could mean for them!

In their welcome remarks, President Kerry Healey and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Sadie Burton-Goss highlighted the College’s approach to learning that strives to ensure a welcoming, affirming and safe environment. The day was chock-full of opportunities for attendees to experience how Babson not only helps students to explore and develop their own complex identities, but to fully engage with our intentionally diverse community. Below is a sampling of their day.

 

Diversity Matters Lunch

Led by Alana Anderson from the Office of Multicultural Programs and members of the F.W. Olin School of Business, attendees engaged in thought-provoking conversations about diversity and inclusion in the Babson community.

Graduate Programs and Resource Fair – Attendees met members of the Babson community and learned about resources available to students.

 

Mock Class with Professor Jennifer Bailey

Prospective students experienced a Babson class with Professor Jen Bailey who led them through the design thinking process, incorporating difference in thinking and approaches to solving business challenges.
