Introducing Babson Career Outcomes: A better way to research hiring and salary trends
Grad CCD is excited to have purchased a new research tool, Babson Career Outcomes, your online tool to find employment trends across industries, regions, functions, and salaries with data over 100 schools within the US. We have also added data from full-time MBA job offers and internships for the past eight years.
To activate your account, you will be asked to update your profile information. We have pre-filled most of your information, so it won’t take long to update it. Be sure to enter any second languages as employers often search for this information for job requirements. You will also be able to select your or update your preferred industry at any time.
Your Babson Career Outcomes account includes a variety of tools that allow you to search outcome data using a number of different filters. These filters help explain certain aspects of a job – for example, city, country, industry or function – and are available throughout Babson Career Outcomes to help you with your employment search.
Please note that we are just starting to gather data for MS, Evening and Blended Students, so you will need to change your program type to Full Time MBA to find results. As of 2016 we will be collecting data for all programs.
In the Offer View, you will be able to research offer timing across 100+ 12Twenty schools as well as offers at Babson College
This view can also be changed to look at offers by year by industry. This is a great way to compare Babson’s history with the entire 100+ US schools. The view shown here is for the consulting industry at Babson. It is easy to switch and view results from other industries too.
Researching in the Salary View gives students the opportunity to Filter results by Industry, Function, Employer and Geography, as well as adding two of these as sub-filters to narrow down results. Again, results can be viewed for Babson data or data across all the 12Twenty database of 100+schools. It is so each to change the filters. Data is available for both internship and full time data.
Students can then dig deeper into a Drill Down or Expanded View to see sub categories of the industry and employers, as well as salary data by year.
ADDING YOUR OUTCOMES
Adding your internships and post-graduate outcomes, is important to keep the data base current and robust for current and future students. Students can add their data any time they have something to share by returning to the profile page. Simply return to the Profile page and tell us about your post-graduation plans or internship experience. All internship experience, either summer or semester adds valuable data for current and future students.
It is important to know that all salary data is kept confidential, and only used in averages. Student’s individual salary information is never published.
