Babson 2015 Full Time Graduate Outcomes

Babson Olin HallBabson’s Center for Career Development is very pleased with the 2015 graduating class and their outcomes reveal a successful story.  The common thread of our Babson graduates is that they thrive in opportunities that will leverage their educational training in Entrepreneurial Thought & Action, a Babson mindset that has attracted multiple organizations to our students and has secured our #1 ranking for entrepreneurship for decades. While many may think that the majority of our graduates start their own business, in actuality, the majority of our graduates leverage their entrepreneurial expertise inside organizations of all types and sizes.

Although many find positions in consulting and finance industries, like other MBA programs, just as many of our students accept opportunities in a range of industries such as; consumer products, non-profit, technology and life sciences/health care to name a few.  Babson students choose their own definition of success and pursue the necessary tools and skill sets to find a path to make that happen.

Here’s a brief overview of the outcomes of our 2015 graduates:

  • Within 3 months of graduation, 88% of the 2015 MBAs were offered a job and 86% accepted a new opportunity.  The average US salary of $89,791 and a $16,000 average bonus reflects the diverse interests of our students.
  • The inaugural MSEL (Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership) class of 2015 was also well received by our partner organizations with 91% accepting a job offer within 6 months of graduation. Their average starting US salary of $64,193 is 57% higher than recent liberal arts graduates with a bachelor’s degree.  These early stage career students are taught how to approach challenges with confidence and creativity, leveraging action as a critical step to moving ideas forward.
