What is up this week at Babson?

Are you a potential applicant to a Babson MBA program?  Have you started an application?  Are you in the lucky club of people who actually submitted one already?  I have an offer.  Come visit Babson this week.  We have some amazing events for you to enjoy.

On Tuesday, October 23 and Wednesday, October 24, we are celebrating Food Day. http://www.babson.edu/academics/centers/the-lewis-institute/pages/babson-food-days.aspx.  Come join the The Lewis Institute, FoodSol, and the Babson community as we celebrate food entrepreneurs and talk about nutrition, cultivation of food, and sustainability. Featured guests include Andrew Zimmern and Gail Simmons. Lunch is served on Wednesday, October 24 at the “Marketplace of Great Food and Great Ideas,” Park Manor Lawn, Babson College, between 12 and 1:30.  Graduate Admissions will buy you lunch.  Stop by our office!

Also this week, the Asian Entrepreneurship Forum will run an exciting full day program on Friday, October 26. This Forum is totally run by students and is one of the largest forums run at Babson.  This year’s theme is “Globalizing Entrepreneurship.” Featured speakers include Shi Wang, founder and chairman of Vanke, Shuhei Abe, President and CEO of Sparx Group, as well as panelists from Dreambridge, JustGiving Japan Foundation, and ThinkLite, among others.  If you are interested, call Graduate Admissions.  We have tickets for you, on us!

Finally, don’t forget the Babson Entrepreneurship Forum–Celebrating Entrepreneurs of All Kinds coming up on November 9.   Another great way to see a student-run event, learn more about entrepreneurs of all kinds, and experience Babson.  And again, Graduate Admissions is offering tickets.  First come, first served.  Join us!

Good luck. Think big.
