First Spring 2018 #How2Tuesday: How 2 Network

The Blank Center is excited for our first #How2Tuesday of the spring 2018 semester: How to Network with Stuart Tucker of Babson College! Please note this session is in Luksic 101.

When you’re at the beginning stages of a startup, networking is everything. Although it might seem easy to just talk to people, there are challenges. How do you identify the right people to connect with? How do you convince them to help you? Join your team? Buy your product/service? Give you money? During this session, Stuart will share his insights on to how to build meaningful relationships with the right people and what steps are needed to getting the prospect to say yes.

About Stuart Tucker

Stuart Tucker is currently a Major Gifts Officer at Babson College. In his role at Babson, Stuart manages a portfolio of prospects including alumni, parents and friends of the College. As a member of Babson’s Development office, Stuart also manages the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors and prospective donors; and plays a major role in developing fundraising strategies.

Prior to Babson, Stuart worked in the Development Office at Wake Forest University (WFU) School of Business. During his time at WFU, Stuart interacted with alumni, parents, friends, and corporate partners to increase engagement in the life of the School through charitable gifts. Stuart also managed a volunteer leadership board which sought to increase leadership level giving and peer-to-peer engagement.
