The Butler Launch Pad at Babson

Do you have an entrepreneurial idea? Need help moving it forward? The Butler Launch Pad provides resources to entrepreneurs at all stages, including an entrepreneurial community, incubator work space, mentors, workshops, peer reviews and more!

This fall we are excited to share that to foster deeper relationships within the community and to help entrepreneurs be more accountable along the way to moving their ventures forward, we will be remodeling our infrastructure. Learn more at our info sessions:

In addition to our info session, the Blank Center has a ton of events that are for entrepreneurs of all kinds. Here are just some of the highlights:

How 2 Tuesdays
Want to learn something really practical to get your startup moving in the right direction? #How2Tuesdays are short, workshop style sessions meant to bring you very specific, user friendly instruction on some of the most important things you need to know how to do for your venture.

Founder Stories
Founder Stories, hosted by the Blank Center, is where you will get to meet some of the most interesting founders, who will share their ups and downs, their mistakes and celebrations – all with #nofilter. Open and brutally honest, these founders will tell their real deal life experience of creating a startup.

Friday, October 28 – Coding Workshop with General Assembly
Interested in startups or tech? Babson College has teamed up with General Assembly to offer Programming for Non-Programmers: Basics + Front-End Development. This program is recommended for students interested in entrepreneurship, technology, and turning ideas into products. Space is limited!

Thursday, November 3 – Rocket Pitch

Each entrepreneur is given three minutes and three PowerPoint slides to quickly and succinctly deliver the critical differentiating elements of their business ideas.  Stay tuned for more details on how to participate in one of Babson’s most exciting events!

Thursday, November 10-17 – Babson Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week

Babson will be celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week with a series of events and activities. The Babson events are part of the thousands of events in 160 countries celebrating innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity during GEW. GEW brings together aspiring and inspiring entrepreneurs, helping them embrace originality, imagination, and ingenuity through local, national, and global activities.   • Thursday, November 10 – Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs

    Since its inception, the Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs has recognized and honored entrepreneurs who have contributed significantly to the development of free enterprise throughout the world. This year we will be inducting new honorees. More details to come.
  • Friday, November 11 – Babson Entrepreneurship Forum

    The Babson Entrepreneurship Forum, organized annually by the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, is the flagship event of the #1 school for Entrepreneurship. Every year, students, faculty, professionals, and entrepreneurs from the Boston community gather for this one-day conference to learn and network. Attendees benefit from the latest in entrepreneurial trends, tools, and thought leadership. The Babson Entrepeneurship Forum 2016 is centered on the theme of “Leading through Action”.
