Last week the Butler Venture Accelerator hosted its first ever Accelerator Launch Event. Attendees got a sneak peek at some of our new market materials and got to meet others in the program. The event was open to current participants and those interested in registering. We had a great crowd, including our entire Accelerator team!
Accelerator Launch Event
During the event, the Accelerator team proposed a challenge for attendees: talk to someone you don’t know. Starting a new venture is tough. There are so many things to consider, and sometimes, people forget one of the most important things: is your opportunity even feasible? In order to validate your assumptions, one of the first things you have to do is go out and talk to potential customers! These are often people you don’t know. During the Launch Event, everyone was talking to one another – it didn’t matter how old they were or what stage their venture was at. Everyone was sharing their ideas, skills, and collaborating. We hope to have another similar event soon!
