Explore is right when you are starting out the business. This is when you do your background research and also learn how you can be an entrepreneur. Currently, about 60% of the Butler Venture Accelerator participants are part of the Explore stage. Pursue is the next stage where you test whether your idea is feasible or not through different prototypes and services. This is when you can start to build a foundation for your business by creating mottos, goals and values of your business. The last stage is to Launch & Grow. This is when you open your business and bring it to the next level and become successful in the real world.

The Butler Venture Accelerator program is here to provide for any student or alum who is willing to start their business. We have dedicated space for student entrepreneurs to use however, the teams that can use the office space (hatchery) are selected through an application process. The undergraduate hatchery is located in Coleman and for graduate it is located in Olin. There is also a co-working space on the ground floor of the Blank Center which is open to all members.

Throughout the semester, we provide other resources to entrepreneurs as well. We provide interactive workshops to help entrepreneurs move their ventures forward. Additionally, we organize different peer to peer group sessions which is when a group gets together to discuss a particular topic. Butler Venture Accelerator is all about providing. We also provide seed funding for businesses that qualify and need extra money to get started.

Through the Butler Venture Accelerator, anyone can make their dream come true. The program is here to support anyone who needs help.
