Babson College Founder Roger Babson's April 9, 1911 New York Times article on the Panic of 1873 is enjoying renewed popularity during the current financial crisis. (Thanks to Holland Ward.) In 1932, during the darkest days of the Great Depression, he wrote Cheer Up, where he reminded readers that “prosperity always returns.”
