From an update that I received today: Selected students working to develop their entrepreneurial ventures over the summer will be part of a pilot program geared towards accelerating their new venture. For the first time, a 10-week summer intensive for student entrepreneurs at Babson is being launched. For selected students, the program will provide work space, mentors, speakers, resources, and a demo day at the conclusion to present to professional investors. Twenty-three teams were selected from the undergraduate and graduate community. The companies range from developing rooftop greenhouses to developing web technology that changes the way consumers shop online to developing a software tool designed specifically for the middle school context that stimulate spersonalized student learning.
