Hi everyone! Welcome to Your Babson Blog! We are all so excited here in the Admission Office for this new way to talk to all of you prospective students. Along with our Dean of Admissions, there will be three of us interns blogging about what life is REALLY like here at Babson. We want this blog to allow you to ask questions of us that can best be answered from a student perspective or maybe questions that you’d feel more comfortable asking a student instead of an admissions counselor or faculty member. This is a less formal way for you to find out everything you want to know about Babson and hopefully decide that this is the place for you! I guess I should start off with an introduction…

…Oooook. Here we go. I’m Justin Brooks a senior here at Babson and I’m originally from Abington, PA (a suburb of Philadelphia). On campus I am currently involved with The Babson Players and being an Admission Intern. Previously I have been a part of intramural soccer, The Babson Outdoors Association, The Babson Jazz Ensemble, and The Babson Admission Assistant Program. I am concentrating in Marketing and Retail Supply Chain Management with the hopes of landing a job in marketing consulting, brand management, or advertising agency in the next few months (yikes graduation and the real world!). In addition to myself there will be two other interns blogging here, Deborah and Jessie. Unfortunately they have no posts up yet because they are slackers…just kidding they’re just super busy and hopefully you will hear from them very soon!

We three interns have discussed where we want this blog site to go and ultimately we would really like it to become very interactive. We LOVE helping prospective students and nothing makes us happier than answering your questions and getting comments on our posts or emails from you…that’s why we’re here. So please please PLEASE leave us comments with what you think about our posts, questions for us, or suggestions for what you would like us to write about. We will be checking our blogs probably as frequently as every other day or even every day so if you leave us a comment or send us an email we will respond to you.
